35 Witness for Peace in Iraq
On Friday evening, March 16th, 35 people from all over Southern California gathered at the Hollywood Adventist Church on the 4th anniversary of the US led invasion of Iraq. The event was part prayer, part conversation and learning about peacemaking, and part public witness for peace. Represented in the group were our friends from Loma Linda University, La Sierra University, Adventist Women for Peace and others.
This event was part of a much larger Christian Peace Witness for Iraq and officially endorsed by Adventist Peace Fellowship. You can click here to view more pictures of the event and read some personal reflections here.
