Pastor Ryan became Senior Pastor of the Hollywood Church in June 2005. He and his family moved to Los Angeles from the suburbs of Pennsylvania where Ryan served the Bucks County Seventh-day Adventist Church. He and his wife, Elysabeth, have two girls: Zoe (7) and Sophie (4). Ryan has been a pastor since 1994 and has served three congregations before coming to Hollywood. In 2000 he received his Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and he is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Ryan writes a blog called Intersections.

Valerie came to us from Boston where she received her Master of Divinity degree from Boston University. In addition to being the Church Administrator and Pastoral Assistant, she heads up our Peace + Justice Committee. She and her husband, Edward, live in Los Angeles.

Lennox Fleary had been a member of the Hollywood Adventist Church for over a year when he joined our staff in January 2008. As a gifted musician and recording artist, Lennox brings his passion for worship and music to the weekly worship life of the congregation. Lennox also has a gift for relationships and works with Ryan in the develop of community life in the neighborhood and the church family.
