Peace & Justice
tikkun olam - it’s a Jewish expression that means, “to heal the world.”
The Hollywood Church believes that this is our calling as well. From Genesis 12:1-3 when God gave Abraham the vocation to be a “blessing to the world” to the final words of the New Testament when Jesus declares, “I am making everything new,” God has been about the work of healing His good creation. As followers of Jesus we see it as our job to partner with God in this work.
Our church has a number of ways you can get involved in working for peace and justice. While many of our partnerships remain constant, the opportunities to get involved change frequently, so check back often to see how you can get involved.
