Lars and the Lonely Heart
A sermon based on 1 John 4:16-21 and the film, Lars and the Real Girl, by Sal Gulotta.

Hike in Malibu Creek State Park
Join us for a hike in beautiful Malibu Creek. A group will leave the Hollywood Church parking lot at 1:30 sharp. PLEASE bring water for the hike. There is also a lake to jump into if you wish, so plan accordingly. For more info see the Facebook event page here. Click here for a map.

Film Screening - East of Eden
Next Sabbath Emily McArthur will be sharing the sermon, based upon the John Steinbeck novel, East of Eden. If you don’t know the story (or even if you do) join us this Saturday night, August 9, at 8:00 pm at the church to watch the 1955 film version of this story, staring James Dean!
